Frequently asked questions
Do participants need an account?
No. Participants join with the 6-digit PIN or QR code you show on screen and take part anonymously. You can also require registration or restrict a workspace to an invited list of email addresses.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Starter plan is free and includes a workspace with the collaborative canvas, polls, a quiz, a shared page, file storage and the AI assistant — enough to run real sessions with up to 30 participants.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Participants use the browser on any phone, tablet or laptop; nothing to install. Presenters get a full workspace on desktop.
Can I run a poll only when I decide?
Yes. Presenter-controlled polls let you advance questions, show or hide results and close voting from your screen while participants follow along.
Can I reuse quizzes and polls?
Quizzes can be saved as templates and created again in any workspace. Polls and shared pages can also be duplicated, and the AI assistant can draft new ones from a topic.
Where is my data stored?
YouLinker runs on Microsoft Azure in the EU. Passwords are hashed, transport is encrypted and payments are handled by Stripe, so card details never touch our servers.
