Getting started
Your first session in a few minutes
Presenters set up a workspace; participants only need the PIN.
For presenters

Create an account
Register with your email address and the verification code we send, or sign in with Google. The Starter plan is free and needs no card.

Set up a workspace
Name the session and choose the access mode: open, registered users only, or an invited list. Add a poll, a quiz, a page or files in advance.

Share the PIN
Put the 6-digit PIN or QR code on your first slide, or send email invitations. Launch polls and open the canvas from your screen once people are in.

The presenter shows a 6-digit PIN and a QR code, or sends them by email invitation.

Open the join page
Scan the QR code, or open the join page in any browser and type the PIN. No app, no account — unless the presenter requires one.

Take part
Answer polls and quizzes, add to the canvas where allowed, read pages and download files. Everything happens in the browser tab.

Accounts and verification codes
How do I create a presenter account?
Go to the registration page, enter your email address and we send a verification code to it. Enter the code and you are in. You can also sign in with a Google account instead.
The verification code has not arrived.
Give it a minute and check the spam folder. Make sure the address you typed is the one you are checking, then request a new code. If it still does not arrive, email us from that address and we will look at the delivery.
I forgot my password.
Use the password reset page. We email you a link to choose a new password. Passwords are stored hashed, so we cannot look one up for you.
Do participants need an account?
No. Participants join with the 6-digit PIN or QR code and take part anonymously, unless the presenter has restricted the workspace to registered users or an invited list.
Joining with a PIN
Where do I enter the PIN?
Open the join page in any browser and type the 6-digit PIN shown by the presenter, or scan the QR code — it takes you straight to the workspace.
The PIN is not accepted.
Check the six digits first. If they are right, the presenter may have regenerated the PIN, the workspace may have reached its participant limit or session duration, or it may be restricted to registered or invited participants. Ask the presenter to confirm.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Participants use the browser on any phone, tablet or laptop; nothing is installed.
Can I keep my answers if I join anonymously?
Responses are stored with the workspace, not with you. If you want to be recognized across sessions, join with an account.
Polls and quizzes
Which poll types are there?
Multiple choice, yes/no, rating, ranking, open text and word cloud. Questions can be bundled into a multi-question poll, given a timer, and run anonymously or with names.
How does presenter-controlled mode work?
You decide when each question appears and when results are shown. Participants follow along on their own devices and cannot skip ahead.
Can people answer after the session?
Yes. Polls and quizzes have share links that work outside a live session. Results still collect in the workspace.
Where do I see results and analytics?
Poll results update live in the workspace as votes arrive. Quizzes have their own analytics with results per question, and each workspace has participation and activity statistics.
Can the AI assistant write questions for me?
Yes. Describe the topic and the assistant, which uses Google Gemini, drafts a poll or quiz. Edit the draft before launching it.
Canvas
What can participants do on the canvas?
Whatever you allow. Permissions are set per object type — sticky notes, shapes, images, emojis, connections — for adding, editing, connecting and deleting.
Can I save a version of the board?
Yes. Save the canvas under a name at any point and restore it later, for example to reset the board for the next group.
Is there free-hand drawing?
Yes. Excalidraw is built in for sketching, with saved history you can go back to.
Pages and files
How do I share a page outside the workspace?
Publish it with a public link, an expiring link or a PIN-protected link. Public links can be added to an LMS or intranet like any other URL.
How much can I upload?
Storage depends on the plan: 10 MB on Starter, 100 MB on Basic and 500 MB on Pro. Files are stored in Azure Blob Storage in the EU.
Can I see whether participants downloaded a file?
Each file shows a download count. Pages count views.
Can I get my pages out again?
Yes. Pages written in markdown can be exported as markdown, and markdown files can be imported.

Billing and subscription
How do I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?
From the Subscription page in your dashboard. Paid plans are billed by card through Stripe; changes apply at the end of the current billing period.
Which payment methods are accepted?
All major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Enterprise customers can ask about invoice billing.
What happens when I cancel?
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. After that the account returns to the free Starter limits; your workspaces are not deleted.
Do participants pay anything?
No. Only presenters need a plan. Participants join for free without an account.

Is something down?
The status page checks the API and real-time service every minute. Look there before writing if the whole workspace stopped responding.
