Work on YouLinker

There are no advertised positions right now. We still read every speculative application, and this page explains who we look for and how we work.

No open positions at the moment

We publish roles here when we have them, and we do not list positions we are not actively hiring for. If you think you would strengthen the team, write to us anyway — the profiles below describe what we tend to need.

Who we look for

Three kinds of people who make the product better

Experience with interactive teaching or facilitation is a plus in every role, because it is what the product is for.

  • Full-stack engineers

React on the front end, Node.js on the back end, and a real-time layer that has to hold up when a lecture hall votes at once. Experience with Socket.IO, MongoDB or Azure is useful; care about latency and clarity matters more.

  • Education partnerships

People who have taught or trained and can talk to schools, universities and training providers about how sessions actually run — then bring what they hear back to the product.

  • Product design

Designers who can make a presenter feel in control on a laptop and a participant feel at ease on a phone, in the same product, in two languages.

How we work

Linker AI is a small team building and running one product. That shapes the work more than any perk would.

  • Remote-friendly

The team is spread across the EU and works asynchronously most of the time, with a small number of fixed calls.

  • Product-focused

There is one product. Everyone who joins works on it directly and sees the effect of their work in real sessions.

  • Close to users

We answer support email ourselves and watch how presenters and participants use the platform. Feedback reaches the people who can act on it the same day.

  • Two languages, one interface

The product ships in English and Latvian. Working across languages, and across the education and business use cases, is part of the job.

Speculative applications

How to apply when nothing is advertised

Keep it short. We would rather see what you have built or taught than a long letter.

  1. 1

    Write to us

Email support@youlinker.com with the subject “Speculative application”. Say which of the three profiles you are closest to, or describe a fourth if none fits.

  2. 2

    Show, do not tell

Link to code, a design portfolio, a course you ran or a talk you gave. One or two concrete things beat a list of skills.

  3. 3

Tell us what you would change

Try the free plan first, then tell us one thing you would improve and why. It is the most useful part of any application we receive.

What we can tell you today

  • We reply to every application by email
  • Work is remote-friendly within the EU and organized around the product, not around meetings
  • Salary and terms are discussed individually once a role is defined — we do not publish ranges for positions that do not exist

Get to know the product first

The best applications come from people who have run a session with it. The free plan is enough to try polls, a quiz, the canvas and a shared page.
