Quizzes and assessment

Check what your audience actually understood

Slide-based quizzes with points, timers and explanations. Run them live in the room or send a link, collect answers from anonymous and registered participants, and read the per-question analytics before the next session.

Anatomy of a quiz

What a quiz is made of

Slides, not forms. Mix question types with info slides, and give each question its own points and time limit.

  • Multiple-choice questions

Options with points per question and an optional explanation shown after answering.

  • Open-ended questions

Short written answers for definitions, calculations or reasoning.

  • Text-highlighting questions

Participants mark the relevant part of a passage. Useful for languages, law and reading comprehension.

  • Welcome and info slides

Set the scene, give instructions or introduce a new section between question blocks.

  • Points and time limits

Score each question and add a countdown to keep everyone on the same slide.

  • Backgrounds and images

Add an image or a background to a slide when the question needs a diagram or a photo.

Low stakes, honest answers

Assessment as part of the lesson, not a separate event

A five-question quiz at the end of a topic tells you what to repeat next week. Because participants can answer anonymously and see the explanation straight away, it reads as practice rather than a test, and the results are just as useful to you.

  • Anonymous and registered participants can answer
  • Show correct answers and explanations after each question
  • Allow retakes for practice, block them for a graded run
  • Passing score per quiz

AI drafts

Start from a generated draft, keep what is good

Describe the topic and the level and the AI assistant drafts a quiz with questions, options and explanations. Everything is editable before you run it: reword, delete, reorder, add images. Randomize questions and answers so neighboring screens differ.

  • AI-generated quizzes, polls and surveys
  • Randomize question and answer order
  • Save any quiz as a template and reuse it
  • Template library across your workspaces

How a session runs

An assessment from draft to reuse

Five steps, whether it is a two-minute check in a workshop or a graded end-of-module quiz.

  1. Prepare
    1

    Build or generate the quiz

Add slides, set points and time limits, and choose whether correct answers are shown, whether retakes are allowed and what the passing score is.

  2. Share
    2

Live in the room or by link

Start the quiz in the workspace so everyone who joined with the PIN sees it, or send a share link for asynchronous completion, with an expiry date if you want one.

    How participants join
  3. Run
    3

Start and end from your screen

Participants answer on their devices, against the timer if you set one. End the quiz when time is up.

  4. Review
    4

    Read the analytics

Per-quiz analytics show scores and per-question results, so you can see which concept most of the group missed and plan the next session around it.

  5. Reuse
    5

    Save as a template

Keep the quiz in the template library and create it again for the next group, or let the AI assistant draft a variation from the same topic.

Polls or quizzes?

Two tools, one question each

Use polls when you want to hear the room, quizzes when you want to measure it. Many sessions use both.

Polls

Opinions, quick checks, discussion starters.

  • No right answer, no score
  • Six types incl. rating, ranking and word cloud
  • Results live, after each vote or after close
  • Presenter-controlled flow across the room
Live polls

Quizzes

Right answers, points and analytics.

  • Slides with multiple-choice, open and highlighting questions
  • Points, time limits, explanations, passing score
  • Randomize order, allow or block retakes
  • Per-quiz analytics and templates

Frequently asked questions

Can participants take a quiz without an account?

Yes. Quizzes collect answers from anonymous participants as well as registered ones. Require registered users or an invite-only whitelist when results must be attributed to named people.

Can I run the same quiz for several groups?

Yes. Save it as a template and create it from the template library in any workspace. The Pro plan includes unlimited workspaces.

Is there a time limit per question?

Yes. Time limits and points are set per question, and the quiz itself is started and ended from your screen.

Can participants retake a quiz?

That is a per-quiz setting. Allow retakes for practice and switch them off for a graded run.

What do the analytics show?

Results per quiz with scores and per-question results, alongside the participation and response statistics of the workspace.

How many quizzes are included?

One on the free Starter plan, 3 on Basic and 50 on Pro. Templates make a single quiz go a long way.
