Live polls

Ask the room and watch the answers arrive

Six poll types, multi-question surveys and presenter-controlled flow. Participants vote from their phones with a PIN or a share link, and results chart on your screen as they come in.

Poll types

Six question types, one launch button

Pick the type that matches the question. Each one renders a live chart on the presenter screen as votes arrive.

  • Multiple choice

One question, several options. Concept checks, decisions and quick opinion splits.

  • Yes / no

The fastest pulse check. Was the example clear, should we move on, does the room agree.

  • Rating

A scale for satisfaction, confidence or difficulty. Good at the end of a topic or a session.

  • Ranking

Participants order the options. Prioritize features, topics or next steps in one question.

  • Open text

Free-form answers for questions, objections and examples you cannot predict.

  • Word cloud

Single words or short phrases, sized by frequency. An icebreaker or a one-word summary of a topic.

Multi-question polls

Bundle questions into a survey with a progress bar

A multi-question poll walks participants through several questions in a row. Let them skip or go back, or auto-advance to keep the pace. The AI assistant can draft a full survey from a short prompt, and you edit the wording before you launch.

  • Progress bar, skip and backtrack
  • Auto-advance between questions
  • Mix question types inside one poll
  • AI-generated question drafts you can edit

Presenter-controlled mode

The whole room on the same question

In presenter-controlled mode you advance the questions, show or hide the results and end the poll from your screen while participants follow along on theirs. Close a poll when the discussion is done, or reset it and run it again with the next group.

  • Presenter advances the questions
  • Show or hide results on demand
  • Close and reset polls
  • Live results charts on the presenter screen

Settings

Four settings that change how a poll feels

Set per poll, so an anonymous feedback question and a named decision can sit in the same session.

  • Anonymous voting

Turn it on for honest feedback and sensitive topics; leave it off when answers should carry names.

  • Multiple responses

Let participants answer more than once. Useful for word clouds and idea collection.

  • Results visibility

Never, after each vote, live, or only after the poll closes. Hide results until everyone has voted to avoid anchoring.

  • Timers

Put a countdown on a question to keep the session moving.

Outside the session

Collect votes before or after you meet

Every poll can be opened through a share link with its own token and an optional expiry, so people who are not in the workspace can still vote: a pre-reading survey before a seminar, or feedback after a workshop. Responses land in the same charts and in the workspace analytics.

  • Token share links with optional expiry
  • Anonymous or registered participants
  • Response and participation analytics per workspace
  • Polls per plan: 3 on Starter, 10 on Basic, 100 on Pro

How a poll runs

Create, launch, talk about it

The whole loop takes a couple of minutes, which is why it fits between two slides.

  1. 1

    Create it

Pick a type, write the options and choose the settings: anonymous or named, single or multiple responses, when results appear, whether there is a timer. Or describe the topic and let the AI assistant draft the questions.

  2. 2

    Launch it

Participants who joined with the PIN see the question on their device immediately. Watch the chart fill on your screen, show it live or keep it hidden until the last vote.

  3. 3

    Talk about it

Reveal the results, discuss the split, then close the poll. Responses stay in the workspace analytics, and you can reset the poll for the next group.

Frequently asked questions

Do participants need to install anything?

No. They open the join page in any browser on a phone, tablet or laptop and enter the 6-digit PIN or scan the QR code.

Can voting be anonymous?

Yes, per poll. With anonymous voting on, answers are not linked to participant names. Anonymous participants get a generated name in the session; if you need verified identities, require registered users or an invite-only whitelist for the workspace.

Can I hide the results until everyone has voted?

Yes. Results visibility is a per-poll setting: never, after each vote, live, or after the poll closes. In presenter-controlled mode you also show or hide results by hand.

How many polls can I create?

The free Starter plan includes 3 polls, Basic 10 and Pro 100. A multi-question poll counts as one poll, and a closed poll can be reset and run again.

Can people vote who are not in the session?

Yes. Open the poll with a share link. Each link has its own token and an optional expiry date, and the responses appear in the same results and analytics.

What is the difference between a poll and a quiz?

Polls collect opinions and quick checks and have no right answer. Quizzes are slide-based, score points, can run against a timer, show explanations and keep per-question analytics. Use polls for discussion and quizzes for assessment.
