File sharing

Hand out slides and documents without the email chain

Upload slides, PDFs, images and documents once. Participants preview and download them from the session in any browser, anonymously if you allow it, and you see how many times each file was downloaded.

How it works

From your laptop to their screens in three steps

No attachments, no shared-drive permissions to fix during the session.

  1. 1

    Upload

Drop slides, PDFs, images or documents into the workspace. Files are stored on Azure Blob Storage in the EU and count against the storage of your plan.

  2. 2

    Organize

Create folders for weeks, topics or groups. Thumbnails and in-browser preview make files recognizable at a glance, even on a phone.

  3. 3

    Share

Participants open the Files tab in the session and preview or download what they need. Download counts show which materials were actually used.

Preview

Open it in the browser, download only if needed

Participants preview files without leaving the session, so a reference table or a diagram is one tap away during a poll or a canvas exercise. Thumbnails keep long folders scannable, and search, type filters and sorting help when a course has accumulated a semester of material.

Downloads

Know which materials were actually opened

Each file shows its download count. Anonymous participants can download too, because a lecture hall of two hundred does not need two hundred accounts, while registered-only and whitelisted workspaces limit downloads to the people you invited.

  • Download counts per file
  • Downloads by anonymous or registered participants
  • Access modes: open, registered users only, invite-only whitelist
  • Workspace analytics alongside poll and quiz results

What you can upload

Slides, documents, images, in folders

Storage is 10 MB on Starter, 100 MB on Basic, 500 MB on Pro and custom on Enterprise.

  • Slides

The deck you present from, available to participants before you reach the last slide.

  • PDFs and documents

Readings, worksheets, agendas and reports, previewed in the browser.

  • Images

Diagrams, photos and screenshots with thumbnails in the file list.

  • Folders

Group files by week, topic or team so a long course stays navigable.

Storage is shared across your workspaces. See the plan comparison

Pages

For material that should outlive the session, publish a page

Files live inside a workspace. When you want a handout that anyone can open, such as a syllabus, a workshop summary or a reading list, write it as a page and publish it with a permanent public link, an expiring link or a PIN-protected link. Pages take headings, lists, tables, code blocks, equations and images, and the AI assistant can draft the first version.

  • Markdown pages and interactive pages with animated elements
  • Permanent, expiring or PIN-protected share links
  • View, like and share counters
  • Draft, published and archived states with tags

Where your files live

Stored in the EU, reachable only through the workspace

Files are uploaded over TLS to Azure Blob Storage in an EU region and served to the participants of the workspace they belong to. Who counts as a participant is up to you: anyone with the PIN, registered users only, or an invited list.

The facts, without the badges

  • Azure Blob Storage in an EU region
  • TLS encryption in transit
  • PIN-protected workspaces; PINs can be regenerated
  • Registered-only and whitelist access modes
  • Role-based permissions for presenters and participants
  • File sharing can be switched off per workspace

Frequently asked questions

Which file types can I upload?

Slides, PDFs, images and documents. Common formats preview in the browser with thumbnails; everything else participants download.

Can anonymous participants download files?

Yes, when the workspace is open to anyone with the PIN. Set the workspace to registered users only or an invite-only whitelist if downloads should be limited to known people.

How much storage do I get?

10 MB on the free Starter plan, 100 MB on Basic, 500 MB on Pro and custom storage on Enterprise.

Can I see who downloaded a file?

Each file shows how many times it was downloaded, and the workspace analytics show participation and activity for the session.

Where are files stored?

On Microsoft Azure Blob Storage in an EU region, with TLS-encrypted transport. Access follows the access mode of the workspace the file belongs to.

Can I turn file sharing off for a session?

Yes. File sharing is a toggle in the workspace settings, like polls, chat, comments, annotations and participant notes.
